Traditional Process

A loan file is originated through one of your business channels and the paper file begins to build. You are faced with overnight shipping charges, photocopying expenses, and document storage and management woes. In addition, you face delays in funding from investors and clearing your warehouse line(s) for additional business.

VirPack Solution

VirPack XMark barcode and VirPack Prep applications can enable branches to scan paper documents, add electronic files, and embed data from LOS systems for delivery to a central office for processing. Credit files, which contain data from the LOS, credit reports, copies of W-2s, paycheck stubs, 1040’s, letters of explanation, appraisals, and loan applications can be packaged within a VirPack. They can be worked internally or delivered to outside underwriters for processing.

Once the loan closes, paper files can be scanned and electronic files added. All aspects of the loan will be immediately available in the VirPack system. All internal users can simultaneously work the loan, allowing efficient back shop processing. As trailing documents arrive, they can be added to the system. Batch processing tools facilitate the delivery of VirPack to servicers and investors for loan setup and purchase.
