VirPack Training Course Overviews

User Training

Introduces participants to a baseline of VirPack's Document Management and Delivery System (DMDS) screens, terminology, functionality and features. Graduating to a hands-on experience with exercises based on real world situations such as working with checklists, streamlining daily routines using MyVirPack, researching and tagging documents, and one-click delivery to investors.

Participants will apply the DMDS functionality to address business situations through hands on exercises. These will include:

  • Indexing – increase the efficiency in document recognition and filing through use of the Automated Document Indexing (ADI) engine
  • Keyboard Shortcuts – quickly and efficiently prepare your loan package for investor delivery
  • Annotating Documents – ability to annotate and sign documents electronically within the system
    • Master the tools to add comments to loan package documents for upstream reviewers or managers
    • Add your electronic signature to loan documents for investor deliveries
  • Workflow Tasking – ability to prioritize workload using pipeline display based on the information they are presented with
  • Document Management
    • Tagging – additionally identify a document in more detail for quick identification
    • Integrated checklists – internally track the items needed for a smooth closing and beyond
    • Views – organize and present only those containers needed to perform functions

Explore the various means of getting paper and electronic content into the VirPack DMDS system. Users will apply knowledge learned in training to:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Follow a loan through its life cycle utilizing VirPack's intuitive menus and features
  • Perform Investor and other third party deliveries using the Deliver function
  • Gain understanding of the mortgage process workflow and how to refine steps to efficiently perform their responsibilities
  • Use a variety of methods of getting documents and images into VirPack

Administrator Training

Designed to train those users who will serve as the company’s primary and back-up VirPack Document Management and Delivery System Administrators - to provide participants with technical skills and knowledge required for a foundation in maintaining, administering and troubleshooting the DMDS system. It is also intended to provide existing DMDS administrators on Versions 1 & 2 with training to enable them to administer DMDS Version 3.

Participants will apply the DMDS functionality to address business situations through hands on exercises. These will include:

  • Desktop Application Management – install, configure and troubleshoot VirPack's powerful desktop applications
  • Using Administrative Tools – design and setup system features that allow effective usage of DMDS resources
  • Facilitating Information Access – ability to provide access to loan data based on permissions and loan status milestones
  • Administrating Users – creating, modifying and disabling user accounts based on the changing needs of the organization
  • Monitoring and Fine Tuning System Performance – administrative tasks designed to enhance the server resources for optimal system health

Through a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, students will gain in-depth knowledge on high level DMDS administration matters such as

  • Investor Delivery Profiles
  • LOS Interface Options and Web-services
  • VirPack System Access Rules
  • Configuring Data Security

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Configure and administer the VirPack DMDS system
  • Understand the physical paper workflow and replicate it virtually using Tasking
  • Customize and enhance the DMDS user experience by applying personal settings
  • Analyze files and pull audit reports for historical and research purposes
